The Bay Alumni Foundation is your connection to the past, present and future of Bay High School.
To inform our alumni through the publication of the newsletter The Shoreline; to provide assistance for classes with their activities, reunions and other class functions; to select and honor our distinguished alumni and educators; and to be a resource for activities relating to the affairs and interests of Bay Village Schools, Bay Village, Ohio and its students thereby fostering a spirit of loyalty and fraternity among the alumni, faculty and students.
The Shoreline is published three times per year (Fall/Winter, Spring, and Summer), and is sent to all Bay High Alumni. For alums who graduated after 1975, the Shoreline is sent via email. Please make sure we have your current email address! Graduated before 1975? Make sure we have your current mailing address….or email address if you are willing to receive your copy via email.
Each class has a representative who acts as a liason with the BAF. These class reps have access to their fellow class members through our computer’s database, which provides addresses, phone numbers, e-mails, etc.
Every other year, it is the BAF’s privilege to review nominations and select alumni to be inducted into the Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame, and former teacher(s)/administrator(s) to be inducted into the Distinguished Educator Hall of Fame. The festivities are held Homecoming weekend. The inductees are introduced to the student body and faculty of Bay High at the Homecoming Pep Rally. The inductees are then presented to the community as they ride in the Homecoming parade and are introduced between quarters at the Homecoming football game. A brunch is held in their honor the next day where the nominators introduce them and the inductees receive their plaques and share their story. Make sure you visit the Alumni Hall of Fame hallway outside of the auditorium at the high school to see the display of all past inductees.
