Drumroll Please…
On Saturday, October 8, 2022 the Bay Alumni Foundation officially unveiled the Bay High Hall of Fame and History Corridor— the culmination of a months-long project to transform the western corridor of Bay High from stark and empty to a vibrant gallery showcasing 100 years of Bay High history (see the evolution of the project below).
The corridor features a wall wrap of photos from 100 years of BHS yearbooks, with a timeline of important events in BHS history running across the top. Display cases and shadowboxes containing BHS artifacts also line the walls. The corridor was already home to the Bay High Alumni and Educator Hall of Fame boards, but now includes an extension of the boards to make room for future recipients.
The Bay Alumni Foundation would like to extend our gratitude to the donors that made this project possible. You will find their names listed on the donor board as you first enter the corridor, as well as a gallery of photos they chose to display in our donor gallery at the end of the hall.
We hope you can stop by to visit the corridor if you live nearby, or the next time you are in town. In the meantime, please enjoy our virtual gallery below.
P.s. We have incremental phases we would like to complete and additional donations will help us move on those quickly. Our donor board was designed to easily allow additional names, so if you would like to donate to the corridor, your name (or the name of someone you are honoring) will be added. You may donate via check (download a donation form) or PayPal.
Go Bay!
Display Cases
The display cases lining the wall are changed periodically to showcase memorabilia from different eras of Bay High history.
